When launching the Upper Class Suite, Virgin Atlantic required a showcase brochure that matched the Suite in luxurious presentation and sophistication, with a touch retro style to it. And not forgetting a bit of Virgin rock and roll attitude.
Start’s solution covered all these bases. What could be more rock and roll with a retro feel than the brochure coming in 12” and 7” formats? Especially when the 12” brochure comes in its own gatefold sleeve.
As for luxury and sophistication, the brochure was printed on high quality stock while the gatefold was printed silver with purple metallic ink and foil blocking. Inside the Suite was presented through moving-image style photography that would sit comfortably in any high fashion magazine.
Copy was spare yet informative, and for those who wanted full details a series of information packed factsheets nestled securely in the gatefold 12” sleeve.
The brochures formed just a part of an integrated campaign also comprising a video and dedicated Microsite, a campaign into which they fitted seamlessly.
