Joe Doyle - Marketing Manager Azzurri Communications, 1 March 2005
"Shortly after the decision was taken at board level to unite all of the companies within the Azzurri group under one name and brand, Start were appointed to create and develop our brand image and produce our brand guidelines.
In a very crowded market place, we wanted something that gave us "stand out" amongst our competitors. Everything we communicated had to be clear, simple and concise. Start were able to crystallise this in the form of a proposition and positioning statement to go with our graphic identity. The photography that Start created for us used people rather than hardware and products, as that's what Azzurri is really all about - people.
Azzurri have an extremely broad product portfolio due to the aggressive buy-and-build acquisition strategy it is following. This meant that a modular approach to communication was required. Start developed a digital brand guidelines solution for Azzurri where both employees and other agencies can get access and download assets.
Azzurri partner with many of the world's leading communications suppliers including Avaya, BT, Citrix, Mitel and Samsung. Because of this we also need a medium to highlight this so Start produce (on an on-going basis) partner communications explaining to customers the benefits of our partnerships with these companies.
Although Azzurri is growing at such a phenomenal rate (we were nominated as one of the fastest growing IT and communications companies in the UK in The Sunday Times Tech Track 100) it is important that our literature reflects that we are fully integrated and 1 company.
Azzurri have acquired 12 companies in just 5 years.
Our CEO Martin St Quinton was recently named as Ernst and Youngs Technology Entrepreneur of the Year.
We are continue to grow and are looking to acquire more companies which will be fully integrated into Azzurri.
Our Management Team picked up the Best Management Team at The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 awards ceremony."
