Virgin Nigeria launched this week with identity and livery design created by Virgin's strategic brand agency Start.
Start has worked with the Virgin Nigeria team in both the UK and Africa to develop the livery which features the green and white colours of the Nigerian national flag instead of the familiar Virgin flying woman icon. The fuselage is also white while the engines are green and the red Virgin tail fin has a green drop shadow.
The low cost flag carrier launches on 4 July and is based in Nigeria. It will fly long haul, regional and domestic routes from its hub at the Lagos Murtala Mohammed International Airport.
Virgin Atlantic posted an annual pre-tax profit of £68 million in May
Start, based in London, is now 10 years old. Clients include Virgin Mobile, the BBC, Royal Mail and Co-op.
