UpMyStreet wins the 2006 NMA Effectiveness Award for Media.

Start's redesigned website features engaging magazine characteristics, with sections offering ways for different types of customers to interact with the site, yet with a consistent look and feel throughout. The new look features fresh and contemporary photography to instil a warm, familiar tone to the content.
 
The site also adopts a seasonal look and feel depending on the time of year. Colourways and graphics specific to Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter have been developed and the site introduces these as the seasons change.
 
With page templates enabling UpMyStreet to maximise the advertising opportunities available within each section of the site, as well as successfully integrated uSwitch product calculators, Start has ensured the site is well-placed to meet its revenue targets.
 
The success of the re-launch has exceeded all expectations, with the average monthly unique visitors to UpMy Street up by 25%, and traffic generated by search engines up by over 170%. The quantity and quality of advertising clients has soared to the extent that UpMyStreet has since been awarded eSuperbrand status.
