Three airlines have collaborated to relaunch a website to offer competitive round-the-world tickets.
The Great Escapade website, which launches this month, is a joint venture from Air New Zealand, Singapore Airlines and Virgin Atlantic.
The site offers consumers round-the-world tickets with the best value and choice of destinations.
The site highlights the fact it has a generous mileage allowance of 29,000 miles across the three networks and also includes a route planner that lets users plug in destinations and calculate their air mile usage as they go.
Other content includes a Travellers' Tales section, which lets holidaymakers report back on their trip. They can also make use of ready planned routes and destination guides.
Once selected, itineraries can be saved and emailed to the travel agents and friends.
Agency Start was appointed to develop The Great Escapade site, following a three-way pitch.
Michelle Robinson, senior marketing executive at Virgin Atlantic, said: "With the different specifications and involvements, it has been quite a complex project, but Start has managed to ensure that from the customers perspective the site is simple, engaging and user-friendly."
