A brand to make digital entertainment brilliant
The merger of Virgin Mobile with cable giant ntl:Telewest created a killer home entertainment application—highest quality fibre-optic broadband, digital TV and phone, plus mobile, from one unique source, with legendary Virgin customer service.
Start worked with Virgin Media for six months to develop and help launch the brand. The key insight was that because Virgin Media places the consumer in control of every possibility for entertainment, their options are as limitless as their imaginations. An idea was soon born — ‘infinite entertainment’.
This idea became the basis for the development of the brand at every level. We expressed it through a striking identity, clean and simple information design, and high-impact look and feel. We then rolled out the brand expression through a huge range of communications, including signage and livery.
